Akanksha Saxena is a Project Scientist at the Wildlife Institute of India, and primarily works on assessment of linear infrastructure impacts on wildlife. As part of her doctoral work, she studied the impacts of road networks on tigers and associated species in the central Indian landscape. She is currently involved in research on linear infrastructure impacts on wildlife, impact assessment and mitigation planning studies, and teaching and capacity building for conservation and development professionals.
