Clara Grilo (coordinator) is a researcher specializing in the ecological impacts of road networks on wildlife. Her work focuses on the effects of roads on terrestrial vertebrates, including changes in behavior, abundance, mortality, genetic structure, and risk of extinction. She is currently dedicated to bridging science and practice in road ecology by promoting open-access data, developing user-friendly analytical tools, providing training, and assessing scenarios for mitigation.
