Jeremy Dertien, Ph.D. is an applied ecologist that studies the influence of human infrastructure and activities on wildlife populations, wildlife communities, and environmental landscapes. His research interests span across many taxa and analytical methods with concentrations in occupancy and connectivity of birds and mammals. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity in Leipzig, Germany researching pan-European ecological connectivity to design the Trans-European Nature Network.
